Lemon-Garlic Salmon with Capers

Pat the salmon dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the salmon skin-side down and sear undisturbed for 4–5 minutes, until the skin is crisp.

Flip the fillets and cook 3–4 minutes more, until just cooked through. Transfer to plates.

Lower the heat to medium. Add the garlic to the pan and cook 30 seconds, then stir in the lemon juice, capers, and butter (if using).

Spoon the sauce over the salmon, scatter with dill, and serve with lemon wedges.
